Our Provincial flower is the Trillium. It is white mostly, but I have seen in red.
We don't have any oceans here, but we do have the St. Lawrence Seaway that opens into the Atlantic Ocean.
I love traveling throughout my province. Seeing all the beauty Ontario has to offer. I hope you might decide to check it out too!

ReplyDeleteI have never been to Ontario but want to make the trip during the fall one of these years. I'd love to see the St. Lawrence Seaway in October or September. I am told the colours are phenomenal!

I've never had a chance to visit Ontario. I've made it to Montreal, but that's it. I would love to visit one day.
ReplyDeleteIn my show biz traveling days, I would spend about three weeks in Ontario--2 performing and 1 week off which we'd always spend in Toronto. This was always one of my favorite times of the year's tour. It was often still snowy since it would be right around Easter. But often the weather would be very lovely as well.
ReplyDeleteThe people were always wonderful. We had great audiences as well. I always bought a lot of music and books while I was there because we got paid in Canadian money and I didn't want to lose anything by exchanging it. I opened a bank account with Royal Bank I believe it was and deposited everything else I had left. I eventually had it all transferred to my U.S. account and lost money on it, but if I could have waited til recently it would have been a pretty even trade I guess.
But, yes, I do love Ontario and would love to go back for a visit now and then. Mmmm! Tim Horton's coffee and muffins!
