#109: With the Stroke of a Pen Claim Your Life - Jane Blaufus

While I was at She's Connected Blogger Conference this weekend, I was given an opportunity to read and review this book I'm about to tell you about. I have to tell you, this is the most powerful book I have ever read.

Ok, so the cover is not what pulled me into this book. I hadn't even really got a good look at the cover when I knew I had to read it, and thanks to another blogger, Mrs. Z , I was able to.

I was listening to the publicist for this book talk about how she hounded her husband in the car ride home from a trip, and thought, "it must be important". I listened to her describe how it can help you fulfill your natural desire to protect your future and protect the ones you love.

This book is exactly that and more. It brought out every single emotion in me, but what it brought out most, is my natural need to secure my future and those of the ones I love.

No one likes to talk about death, and the after life, but we have to. It is a natural thing that we must do like securing for retirement. This book is a great guideline to do all those things that are difficult to do.

I definitely feel I need to get a better hold of my future. Sadly, I realize how unprepared my after-life is going to be, and in turn, I leave a lot in the laps of those I love. Unless I make a change. I have been discussing this book with the hubster from the start. By page seven I was in tears and absorbing every single word off the page. By page twenty I was laughing and deeply connected to the stories. Because of it, we will be making a life change and preparing for our whole life and not just the now.

Crazy to think how a person sharing their most tragic story can open ones' eyes. I wish I had an unlimited supply of copies to hand out to people too. This is one of those books that once you read, you'll have to share it with everyone.  The message definitely needs to be heard, so please get yourself a copy today!
