Yeah, you read right.
Hurricane Sandy is making her debut in Southern Ontario tonight, and I am in her direct path.
Unfortunately where I live, currently gusts of wind are 65km/hr and up, and growing steady. It is raining quite heavily too. The weather people have also issued an alert that a storm surge could happen over our lake, and send a 50ft wave into our city.
Now that would really suck since I live so close to the lakeshore.
Really, less than a mile away.
So I have some posts scheduled, but if you don't hear from me I may be without power, or even a roof.
Lets pray that doesn't happen though.
Fingers crossed us Hamiltonians make it out unscathed.
See you on the flip side!

Stay safe!

ReplyDeleteI'm not sure how high the winds are here right now but I can't believe that I haven't lost power! Hope we haven't lost too many trees.
